Supposed To Be.
Maybe it's up with the stars
Maybe it's under the sea
Maybe it's not very far
Maybe this is how it's supposed to be
This is how it's supposed to be
Maybe it's trapped in a jar
Something we've already seen
Maybe it's nowhere at all
Maybe this is how it's supposed to be
This is how it's supposed to be
Looking forward as we rewind
Looking back is a trap sometimes
Being here is so easy to do
If you want to
If you want to
If you want to
If you want to
If you want to
If you want to
If you want to
If you want to
If you want to
If you want to
If you want to
If you want to...

Milk
Today is the day I skinny dipped for the first time in my life - and it was in broad daylight in the sea. I felt very alive... but very very... numb... indeed from the sheer freezingness of it LOL

Kiss The World With Fingers Crossed.
A whole new CD, and this one song turns out to be my favourite, because of that one line. Clever music :)

Someone Else.
Here comes another one... this is one I hadn't listened to properly until yesterday when it came up on good old itunes random. The piece fits the title so perfectly, another masterpiece from Newman. So beautiful, and really worth a listen. Please leave comments :)
Once A Pirate, Always A Pirate
I was just looking through some photos I've had on my mac for ages that I completely forgot about. I found this one which made me laugh :)

Evening
Thank you Claire bear for taking me out today, had much fun and laughed a lot :)
I did make a video to post this evening, but I tried uploading it 3 times and everytime it crashed at 99%... so screw it as they say.
Instead, I've been sitting in the dark for the last hour playing my saxophone along to some of my favourite film pieces, including the one shown a couple of posts ago... I learnt the piano line and played along with it, and it has relaxed me after feeling very tense. I love my saxophone, thank you a billion times for teaching me :)

Sleep
Last night I had a hefty amount of scarily vivid nightmares. Not all of them my usual ones.
I also had a hefty amount of scarily vivid dreams, in which all my friends, as well as people I just know, and don't particularly like popped up. Most of them odd. Very odd. The dreams that is. I thought I'd talk about dreams as I had the pleasure of listening to one of the most beauiful, calming and relaxing pieces of music I've ever heard today. All I could think was, wow. It's like you can close your eyes, and just take yourself to a secret, quiet place that was made especially for you, and perhaps some others, where you can just relax and be free and at peace.. that's where the music takes you... it's beautiful. I think I'm in for a great night's sleep. Thank you.

The Farm
I'm going to add blogs now and then, when a song, composition or tune pops up on my iTunes random and makes me stop what ever I am doing. I'll post the songs up here, and ask you to have a listen, if you have time, and just want something different to listen to for once. And maybe you could do the same? Only takes copy and paste in youtube embedded :)
This is from a really sad but great film, touching and soft, with all the right kind of comedy, tragedy and tears you could want, well balanced through the film. So much so that by the end of the film you just say, wow. And there's a kind of breath-taken silence. The music fits the mood perfectly, and gives me such a sense of inner feeling, that I burst into spectacular tears... perhaps it's not the best piece for me to be listening to right now. But I love it. I hope you do too. Please leave comments :3

The Finish Line
Don't you just love it when you stumble upon a song you've had for years in your iTunes library, but have never ever heard, and it blows you away. The odd track that doesn't fit with the rest of the album... the one that will never be the single... the one that blows you away, and makes you cry with just that one note... that makes the whole song beautiful... have a listen...
The earth is warm next to my ear
Insect noise is all that I hear
A magic trick makes the world disappear
The skies are dark, they're dark but they're clear
A distant motorcade and suddenly there's joy
The snow and ticker tape blurs all my senses numb
It's like the finish line where everything just ends.
The crack of radios seems close enough to touch
Cold water, cleaning my wounds
A sad parade, with a single balloon
I'm done with this, I'm counting to ten
Bluest seas, running to them
I feel like I am watching everything from space
And in a minute I'll hear my name and I'll wake
I think the finish line's a good place we could start
Take a deep breath, take in all that you could want
A magic trick makes the world disappear
The skies are dark, they're dark but they're clear
A distant motorcade and suddenly there's joy
The snow and ticker tape blurs all my senses numb
It's like the finish line where everything just ends.
The crack of radios seems close enough to touch
Cold water, cleaning my wounds
A sad parade, with a single balloon
I'm done with this, I'm counting to ten
Bluest seas, running to them
I feel like I am watching everything from space
And in a minute I'll hear my name and I'll wake
I think the finish line's a good place we could start
Take a deep breath, take in all that you could want
